I would like to say thank you for all the posts above.
Can anyone tell me what the best "ready-built" desktop is?
I could just replace some parts. Same budget; 1500 USD.

Its 1.2 so you got money left to buy a better keyboard and mouse. Has an I7 920, GTX260, 9gb ram. All it needs is bluray.

If you can build it yourself, it's better that you do instead of buying a pre-built.

1.2 for a 260? waste of cash.
