so i installed crysis. the 64 bit worked at first, but when i restarted it would stop responding at launch. the 32 bit one works but the audio is glitchy. what is going on? this is on w7 64 bit.

Uhh is it a legal version? Have you tried reinstalling? Downloading a new crack if it is pirated?

i installed 1.2 patch and crack. it worked the first time and now it dosent.

Crysis is the best singleplayer game I've ever played. The gameplay and story are amazing, and the graphics I don't even need to mention. I'll never understand why anyone doesn't like Crysis, and everyone I've talked to so far that doesn't like it hasn't played past the first level and their argument is always 'only the graphics are good', and I'm not exaggerating.
Anyway, check to see if your audio drivers are up to date. Find them on the site for your sound card, or if you don't have one, the site for your on-board sound (such as Realtek).

yeah, it seems to be cpu usage related. when i open up the sandbox 2 editor with youtube on in the background youtube laggs. when i was in the sandbox editor it crashed with the screen going blue and i have to hard reset. im having the same problem in css.

what does windows have to say about the hangs? look in the event manager and see if it recorded shit hitting the fan.
at the rate you're going, it sounds like faulty hardware. |

It may just be an incompatibility with the game vs w7. Run it in compatibilty mode for xp sp3. |

| I dont understand why you cannot just make a shortcut, go to properties, and do xp sp3 mode for compatibility. If it works fine on xp, than running it in xp compatibility will work. |
