|
|
EDIT:
Nevermind.
So i just build my computer, and it won't turn on.
I have everything connected like it says in the manual, or so i think.
It won't turn on at all, no noise, nothing, hasn't ever been turned on before.
How can i tell whether i have a bad PSU or a bad case, or if i just have the connections in wrong?
EDIT:
The power LED in the motherboard lights up when it is plugged in and the PSU's switch is on, leading me to wonder if i have a bad case, or if i have it plugged in wrong.

only thing I can think of is that you didn't connect the PSU to the motherboard correctly....

m/b is grounded or you did not plug in the +12v AUX (4-8pin) connector?

short?
you DID use the mb risers, right? your PSU will trip and nothing will happen if the mobo is making contact with something.
take it out of the case and see if it starts. just sit it on a cardboard box and try to start it.

What do you mean grounded? and by +12v AUX, you mean ATX?
also slovach what you mean the motherboard risers?
EDIT:
I used the brass stand-offs if that is keeping it from being grounded.
Woah.
Just took everything out and put it back in, working perfectly now!
