Well I found an old ddr1 pc3200. It went to my old gaming desktop from 5 years ago. My dads desktop still uses ddr1, so I figured, ok, give it to him. Bios reads it + one of his old 512mb sticks fine. Windows comes up. It says it has failed to verify the license for windows, explorer, nothing starts. Ok, put back in the old ram, all is well. Now is it bad, or is it just rejecting the brand of ram? It has 2 old sticks of Bravo ram. This ram, is idk what. Says memorypower, but I have never heard of it. Originally bought from a CompUSA. It ran for years in my old pc, but was miss placed for a good 2 years.
Is it bad, or does the pc just dislike it?

| Put the non-original stick and run memtest86+ on it for several hours to check it for errors, if there is no problems put both and reinstall windows.
