Does RAM effect flash games?
Or does my graphics card?
I have a 2.8ghz processor so i know i have a good enough processor.
But what mostly effects speed in flash games?

The OP's referring to hardware, not software.

I was actually wondering the same thing a few days ago. Can't say I'm actually sure.

I'm almost positive it's related to RAM, seeing how the resource usage jumps up when playing videos on Youtube (which is in Flash). Though the processing power of CPU matters as well, but not that much seeing how most of us are already using processors with two or more cores.

I have a single core processor.
Will that effect speed much?

Depends on the game. For example: really good graphics vs moderate or low quality...

Come to think of it, it may also tax the graphics card as well.

Would 2gb of ram let me play on high quality with little lag?
I currently only have 512MB and intend on getting more.

If you have 2GB of DDR and a crappy processor/GPU, it will make little difference. (no offense)

You're using a 2.8GHz Celeron. Lag is certain, but severeness depends on the game.

I'd say it depends more on your CPU than your RAM. I have a gig of RAM, but even a simple flash game will cause my processor to spike.. and if there's too much going on in the game it's like watching a movie in EXTREMELY-SLOW motion.

Most games don't lag too bad.

Most flash games don't use much RAM, but they put a lot of load on the CPU. Videos do put a bit more in RAM than games, but its still negligible. The only thing that some flash apps use the GPU for is the final rendering, and that is it. Most don't even do that as you have to explicitly force it.
