I'm using vista home basic and i just found out that you can access all my files through the guest account. I would simply take it off but I need it on so my mum and brother can use my PC when I'm at school and my step-dad is working on the family computer. So, how do i stop the guest account from accessing my files?

Edit: I just tried removing the gues account from seeing some folders by:
Computer> Users > My Account
then i right cicked on the folder
Properties > sharing
Then I clicked on Share to change the sharing options. It says that the gues account has reader permissions. I then "removed" their permissions and clicked Share to apply the changes. After waiting several minutes I got an error message saying that these files were in a sharing folder. What's going on!? |
