I received almost no help from random spam, so I wanted to see if anybody could help me here.
I was just playing warcraft 3, and I guess Vista, JUST OUT OF NOWHERE, RANDOMLY FUCKED UP. My resolution is stuck at it's lowest settings (I put it up, press apply, hit OK, and it goes back to the very lowest) and I have like shit colors. I know very little about computers in general, so I have no idea on what to do. I restarted n everything, but nothing seems to be working. It's even hurting my eyes just to type out a post.
Yes, I tried reinstalling my video drivers, and yes I system restored. Neither worked.

Did your computer get nudged a little?
it could be that your external video card is slightly moved.
I'm not sure about vista, really, but is there a setting for 256 colors?
Does it just happen while playing warcraft 3?

This happened when I played warcraft 3. It just froze, all the pixels were fucked up, and I couldn't get out of it, so I restarted my comp. Which is where all this happened. Not only on wc3.
I can't check if my video card is moved or anything, because my computer casing is like bolted shut. I don't have any screw drivers on my atm.

Also, I GOT IT TO WORK.
All I did, was install my graphic driver, went to it, disabled it, enabled it, restarted computer, and it worked. I never though of doing that in the first place because it sounded dumb, but because I was kind of desperate, I tried it out. WOOO WORKED
edit: ARGH. I tried to fix, tried wc3, froze, and got shit resolution + colors. I tried AGAIN and got the same error. Now it' stuck like this...

| Right click -> properties -> settings -> advanced -> monitor/screen -> uncheck hide modes. Apply that and try to change your colors to 32 bit and resolution back...
