Okay, so it just happened this morning. I tried to turn my pc on, but it wasn't working. Screen stays black, mouse and keybard lights stay off. The fans do work, but sometimes they stay off (The case fans. The GPU/PSU/CPU fans do work.) It's really weird :S.
The pc does sounds like it's booting.
I've tried the following stuff:
-Clearing pc from dust/checking all cables
-Cleared CMOS
-Tried booting with 1 RAM-stick and without RAM-sticks
I really don't know what the problem can be. I think it's not the PSU since the fans are running
Any thoughs?

Corrupted BIOS and ruined chips? Since the added hardware doesn't seem to work...

You might have fried your chips, since hardware like the monitor, mouse and keyboard doesn't work.
Not really an expect on this matter.

Well, I don't think so. My computer never overheated and stuff. And the fans are still working. I think Imma try taking out my GPU and my TV-tuner and see what happens.
Edit: Tried booting without GPU and TV-tuner, didn't work
But now, the case fans, are not spinning anymore :S

Fans work sometimes but not always? I'd check the PSU. How old is it? How long is your PC on per day?
Does the internal speaker beep if you try to boot with no RAM?

It was working before. But they stopped :S.
PSU is about 1 year old. Pc is on like 7-10 hours a day I think.
I have never heard any beeps comming from my motherboard, I believe it doesn't even have an internal speaker (It is a low budget MoBo)

Replace the Power Source box thing. I had the same problem. Costed like 80 bucks for a good one. (:

The PSU - odds are, it's a dead/dying power supply.

The 400W Corsair is a great buy at 30 USD after rebate ($20), I've used it in three builds so far without fail. Of course, if you've got a super high-performance PC, you might think about a better one...

Remove the cables for the additional headers (front panel USB, audio, etc) and see if that works.

Would that really make a difference?
(Cause it is starting up. It's not that the on/off switch doesn't work.) |
Had a system that had the same symptoms as yours and turns out it wasn't the psu. It was caused by the cables from the front panel USB ports. Remove them and the system boots up (picture on monitor).
Of course if a computer has the same issue you're having pulling out the cable won't be the definitive answer.
Like others have said your PSU maybe faulty and that can also be one of the cause.
