im trying to install this: http://dopeysneezy.deviantart.com/art/Windows-7-Complete-109505907?offset=10#comments
and whenever i place the files in the replacer it says that the file dosent exist.
i am placing from the system32 folder.
EDIT:
ok, i installed it and it isnt working. its just windows classic. anyone care to help?

My guess is that you didn't patch uxtheme.dll

Why didn't you do it before? I'm not sure, as whenever I installed XP the first thing I did was patch uxtheme.dll, but I do know that you have to restart after you do. Have you restarted since patching it?

Download, use UxStyle Core.
In beta, but it works.

It's from Rafael @ withinwindows.com (that's the guy who started making those patches..)
Works with any modern Windows OS, architecture to the effect of patching uxstyle.dll.

i did. same thing. think i need to fix the uxtheme.dll.
can someone upload an unpatched xp sp3 uxtheme.dll for me?

It'll tell you that, don't worry, it doesn't matter. That just means that the patcher worked. You don't have to fix it.

Okay, I reinstalled all of the normal dll's, replaced uxtheme, restarted, replaced the others, and now im still on windows classic.

You mean you put turned uxtheme.dll back to normal?
Again, why would you do that?
