Ye I want some kind of menu or something as a background. So that It can get organized. And categorized.

In Vista and Windows 7 Active Desktop is replaced with Windows Sidebar.

Why would you expect it to be less extensive? Win7 came after Win Vista (obviously), therefore they wouldn't downgrade any component of it.

| Windows 7 has aero theme (100x better than vista's) and Sidebar, which you can actually make apps for.

what has that got to do with my topic. Sidebar is not at all like active dekstop in xp. : >
