The one that came with my pc? I have xp pro installed since it wont even let me use the recovery built in. On the boot you are supposed to press alt + f11 or 10, w/e to boot the factory settings, but it hasnt worked since I stopped using the installed factory xp install.

How can I delete that backup? Its about 10GB I could use for something else. It shows as an OEM partition in disk manager and I cannot touch it.

If you want to be able to use the partition again, you could add an entry for it with Super GRUB Disk on a CD or USB drive. It would be pretty easy...
However, if you just want to get rid of it for extra space, there's gparted, countless live GNU/Linux distros you could use. I don't ever really recommend doing that sort of thing from a partition you'll be editing.

Then any of the aforementioned programs will do the trick. Good luck.

Yea. I figure, if I can't use it, I should just remove it. Besides, xp pro is way better then a netbook version of windows xp home. Its actually a vanilla xp home, but it seems like they cut out a few minor things. For instance, theme support.

Oh, it's a netbook. Yeah, I think I kept the extra partition on my netbook though I don't use Windows at all anymore. In fact, I'm starting to get tired of super-fancy UIs as well. Back to a command line and Lynx for me. Rolling Eyes
