Hey guys.
I currently have an Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz in my Thermaltake V9 Case.
It is using the stock Intel Cooler.
This is what Everest Ultimate said about my temp's.

Quote:

Temperatures:
Motherboard 40 °C (104 °F)
CPU 45 °C (113 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 47 °C (117 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 47 °C (117 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #3 43 °C (109 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #4 43 °C (109 °F)
North Bridge 47 °C (117 °F)
GPU 50 °C (122 °F)
GPU Memory 42 °C (108 °F)
GPU Ambient 42 °C (108 °F)
WDC WD10EAVS-00D7B1 32 °C (90 °F)

Cooling Fans:
CPU 1615 RPM
GPU 1468 RPM (40%)

Voltage Values:
CPU Core 0.93 V
+5 V 4.92 V
VBAT Battery 3.26 V
DIMM 1.52 V
GPU Vcc 3.39 V

Current Values:
CPU 5.39 A

Power Values:
CPU 5.00 W
Debug Info F 01A2 FFFF FFFF FFFF 0000
Debug Info T 40 45 47
Debug Info V 3A 5F 08 B7 11 08 05 (7F)

This is when only Windows 7 is running with barely anything else.
I think it's time I buy a cooler.
Which of these is the best in order from best to worse and why? Also will they fit in my Thermaltake V9 using a Gigabyte Ex58 UD4P motherboard.

Prolimatech Mega Shadow Deluxe Black Edition CPU Cooler
Thermalright TRUE Black 120 Rev. C
CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler
Noctua NH-U12P SE CPU Cooler

Personally I reallu like the Thermalright 120 and the Coolermaster V8

I dont have time to look at all those but I wanted to say be careful about getting one thats too tall. Mine is barely too tall and i have to tape the edges of my case to keep it on.

Running Crysis Warhead on 1680*1050, Everything on Gamer (Second Highest) at around 60FPS.
Quote:
Temperatures:
Motherboard 37 °C (99 °F)
CPU 45 °C (113 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 48 °C (118 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 48 °C (118 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #3 44 °C (111 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #4 44 °C (111 °F)
North Bridge 45 °C (113 °F)
GPU 54 °C (129 °F)
GPU Memory 46 °C (115 °F)
GPU Ambient 45 °C (113 °F)
WDC WD10EAVS-00D7B1 28 °C (82 °F)

Cooling Fans:
CPU 1619 RPM
GPU 1459 RPM (40%)

The main reason why I want one is because I can get one of those CPU Coolers for $80AUD. Do I really need one? I think 50 Degrees Celsius running Crysis on gamer is kind of cool, am I right? What's something that would make my computer load so I can see it's temp?

Load temperatures seem unusually low. Try using different software.

If you want to shit yourself, go find the intel burn test.

PS i7's can run hotter than hell itself. They start to throttle at !! 100c !!

If your don't going to overclock those temp are good.

Original with "Noctua NH-U12P SE2" i5 750 I had 26-30 and 35 at load (depends on room temp).
And now when I got it overclocked to 3,7 it 30-40 idle and 63 at load.
As long as the temps r under 70 at load their fine.
