What is this? I can find jack crap about it on google. Mine is corrupt or something according to sfc/scannow. How do i fix it? Because i think its lagging the shit out of my wireless without it.
edit: it must be important, cuz now i cant boot. Going back to xp, i have way too may issues on 7

I got a report on this.. and I have to say I agree with it. Hero, you have more pc problems than half of comp talk put together. I think it's time you do shit the right way and take your pc to a shop, have them do everything right so you don't have to keep posting more problems. Honestly, I don't even know how the hell you manage to run across so many problems.

I never had any problems untill windows 7. Hell I had no prolems on vista. Windows 7,they never stop.
Thats ok, while reinstalling xp it fucked up, not it says the disk cannot be read and it wont let me boot off the HDD.
As for the porn retard, downloading porn doesnt even give viruses anymore. Welcome to the present.

So then drop windows 7, or obtain a legal version and take it to a shop and have them do it. And downloading porn can still give viruses. Downloading anything can give viruses.

That makes some sense now that I think about it: I fixed an uncle's laptop that would BSOD sometime after boot under Vista. A beta of Windows 7 worked, at least for a while, then the same BSODs. Turns out the hard drive was slowly eating itself, and a replacement solved everything.
Offtopic: Can you believe that a computer repair place for a huge university took almost five days to replace a hard drive for a laptop (standard SATA)?

it may still live. i gotta buy a usb dvd drive. using xp usb method gets missing hal.dll. i might be able to save it with a cd installer. if that fails, i can get a 320gb 7200 rpm hdd for not too much. yes standard sata.
