Google doesn't help: I don't need the source for what I want, just an example of how to do so. For instance, I want a textbox to display a certain URL variable, how do I access that variable?

Google it. I just did and I got it right.

You need to explain what you want by "URL Variables". Do you mean the ?p=10204 at the end of CEF's links, or do you mean something embedded inside the HTML?
