Hi everyone.
My visual basic 6 doesnt let me set or get variables anymore.
If I try to run it, all it says is `Argument not optional`
Can anyone pm me what I should do or just leave a post with constructive ideas.

Best Regards , Dark Orbit

Microsoft doesn't even support VB6 any more, it's probably a sign that you should get out of the stone age.

The VB6 IDE runs multiple times faster than Visual Studio 05/08.
VB6 doesn't load any API it doesn't need.
VB6 does not have .NET controls as a dependency.
VB6 programs do not need to be compiled to be run.
More VB6 programs can run than VB.NET can.
(native) VB6 programs run faster than any .NET application.
VB6 programs can be compiled natively.
Running VB6 programs does not leave behind a ton of trash in the uncleanable WinSxS directory.
... VB6 programs can elevate itself to have admin privilege without admin rights.

He'd like to stay in his "stone age" (I caught you saying this twice, one of which cannot be justified) as he pleases.

VB sucks nonetheless.

I laughed, because that list is hilariously wrong, but whatever.

laugh however you want - I've lived by VB6 and coded algorithms that were marginally slower than ASM (on x86 only though.)

this guy is asking for a solution to HIS problems, and I'm sure "getting out of stone age" isn't a way to submit his assignments.
