Topic was originally about ready boost, but to not make a new thread, I just changed title.
My USB ports aren't showing up as 2.0, and for a few things I need them to show up as 2.0. I'm using Windows7 if that's important. And Yes, I tested all 7 of my USB ports.

You will first need a patch that will let Windows use drive larger than 4GB for readyboost.
2nd readyboost helps a bit, but not too much. You're better off just getting more ram if you want to increase your application's performance.

Can't afford Ram, so I might as well take 10 gigs from my iPod and use it for ReadyBoost. Also do you know where I can get said Patch?

| Ya you can but like he said, it needs a patch. Doesnt Ultimate UI tweak 2.0 have the fix for this? Id try it.

It's telling me my ipod isn't in a USB 2.0 port, when it is. :\

Decided not to do it, but to not make another thread, anyone know why I can't get Stereo Mix to work with Win7?
Also having problems with my USB's. They aren't showing up as 2.0, and I need them to.

| Had the same thing going on, a pop up would come up in the corner saying. You could get a greater speed with a 2.0 blablabla. All i had to do is update the usb hub drivers.

Its worked for me a few times on a few things (webcam, sd card reader, etc.).

Plug in a USB flash drive and see if you get any usb 2.0 messages, if not then you're fine.
If yes, go into the bios and check your usb mode as well as see if usb 2.0 is enabled or not.
