Ok so first I noticed my fan was revving high so i went into task manager and closed the process. The second i ended it i BSOD with a BAD_POOL_HEADER. Next i was watching a streaming a video on Firefox and mid way watching it, DWM.exe crashes taking my internet with it. Figuring ill just reboot when its done, because it already streamed, i left it alone. It came back on its own after 2minutes or so.

No its not my ram and memtest86+ is unusable to me because i do not have a cd drive. I had my ram tested (or the unused by using a memtest that runs from windows. No errors. Its either related to firefox or some virus.

Its annoying the shit outta me and i really need it to stop. It never seems to do the same thing twice, except the dwm.exe crashing about 3 or 4 days ago.

If you have been suffering many problems, the ideal solution is a reformat.
It would solve all your issues unless you download the some thing which created the problem in the first place.

all the issues just seem to revolve around firefox. The stuff always happens when im using firefox. Im wondering if FF just has some kind of conflict.

I did just put in new ram but Its not the problem. I had a few BSOD before that and or dwm.exe crashing. Its just weird.

Ok i did a memory check with this: http://www.w7forums.com/memory-diagnostics-t1507.html and no problems found. Its built in so it worked, yay. No issues. I did a basic scan first and then a extended and it froze up completely during the extended. Not much diff between the checks, just a few more places checked. It got pretty far and then sat on the % for an hour. It was indeed frozen because I couldnt enter the options or exit it.

The problem is not my ram.

Its a retail copy. Windows 7 copys arent legal anyway you slice it. This one had very good reviews too. I dont think its the copy, but I can get another and run a repair on it.

I just finished after an hour and a half. No issues found. Its not a software thing. Im going to guess and say its having compatibility issues. I cant find any other reasons. It probably wont resolve at all untill windows 7 gets its firs SP which will be a while.

if anyone else has any ideas about these weird crashes lemme know. i never had any crashing issues on xp, but i need windows 7 for the updates drivers so i can play what games are in my limit.

I have 7600. The reason dwm.exe crashed is because i changed its priority. It hasnt crashed since. as for the weird BSODs, they all seem to relate to firefox.
