I just got a new computer (or, it's a few months old), and i installed Windows 7 on it, instead of the XP Home Edition that was already at it.

Everything seems to work, except for my GFX card, its a GeForce 6200SE TurboCache 128mb, and it is supported on Windows 7 (using this driver).

I installed the proper drivers, and Direct X 9.0c (from my BF2 CD)

Though, when i try to run the Windows Experience Indexing, it gives me a message: "The windows experience index for your system could not be computed. Could not measure video playback performance."

And i am as well not able to play [guess what game], it connects to the server, and changes the resolution of the screen, but never shows up properly.

I've got the choice to switch it with a 4 year old ATI GFX card, same size, but pretty much slower. It is only supported for Windows XP and Vista, but you can get it installed and working on Windows 7 (i did it before). But it would be a waste of the nVidia, which after all has a clock speed of 500mhz, and my ATI has around 300 as far as i remember.

Can it be caused by anything else than my GFX?, and did anyone face this bug before?, any solution?

Which build of Windows 7 are you running?

Also, the 6200SE is almost useless for gaming, so switching to that old ATi, if it works correctly with 7, probably wouldn't be that bad.

Not going to use it for gaming anyways, and its Build 7100, the version which the drivers i'm using was originally released for
But i suppose i'm just going to switch to my ATI then, it doesn't make any noise neither (the 6200SE makes more noise than my sound weak cooler O.o), but i wont run into troubles switching, will i?, it's mostly that it's a pre-build Medion computer?

Woot, i just remember that i actually have a X700 PRO in my older comp!, thats 425MHz Engine speed 256mb ram! Very Happy, ima use that one Very Happy
edit: it works like a charm! Very Happy

the driver was all buggy and the best was to just use the Vista driver.
