it seems to be i cant extract a file because i dont have enough space when i have 40 gigs of space...and the game isnt even that big

Move the file onto your desktop and try to extract it.

I remember one time i tried to extract it when it was in Firefox temp download folder and it didn't work.

Might be the same thing.

If an external HDD is the case, it'll first extract it to temp then write it back to the HDD.

you sure that it's not because you're hdd is formatted as FAT32, and the file you're trying to extract is greater than 4gb?
