This. If you're using cable there are a few ways to get more bandwidth, but you will get caught and your connection terminated. _________________

e.g. Changing MAC address to that of someone with a better plan.
And because that's probably what the OP would start googling after once he found out about it. |

Yes, you can use a Download Manager...
Personally I use Free Download Manager.
In most cases it increases download speed upto double compared to normal browser downloaders such as IE and FF...
The way it works is that the file is split up into lots of pieces and is downloaded simultaneously... I don't know how the increases speed but yeah... Although it downloads in pieces, the file is still exactly the same... _________________

Usually you'll only get a speed increase if a single connection to the server isn't fast enough to max out your internet bandwidth. Download managers are good for not losing progress in downloads, site crawling (some), stuff like that. |

uhhhh, no. Your speeds are directly tied to your modem, when you upgrade, they push the new speeds directly to you. |

Aww ok, we have the cheapest plan so I didn't expect a all-cure answer that makes my DL super fast. Thanks everybody for helping.
