You could look into overclocking. What processor is that?

2.6GHz is the same thing as 2.60GHz, who taught you math? teehee
Anyway, i doubt your BIOS allows you to... but try to overclock it.
I really doubt you need more power out of it :\
If you do, you shouldn't have a laptop.

zzz i was copying it from xfire cause im lazy, and i accidentally said 2.4 before.
bios dont let me do anything but change the color of my speaker lights and but password on HD. cant even change speed of the fans. gay. and btw, i was asking for efficiency, not more power

Just be glad they bought you a computer >_<! I have to pay for mine...
Also, I think overclocking is out of the question lol....
There's nothing much you can do =/
Edit : Unless, Maybe check if it has 30-day Return for refund, Which then you could send it in and choose your own O_o

who?
btw new problem. my CPU is at 100% constantly, and when it isnt, it is at around 5%, when im running games that generally take up the entire cpu. it is quite a bit of lag either way, weather it be 100 or 5
ive had this laptop for a few months, never had the problem
pretty bad when the credit screen from a simple flash game lags

it was all working FINE yesterday, even that specific game worked. now EVERYTHING lags, and when im playing games like GTA, cod:WaW, ect, it averages 5-15%, and was normally 70-90%. and other times, everything is constantly 100% and laggingthe fact that it worked yesterday kinda rules out drivers. and i have restarted, run virus scan with kaspersky, and nothing works

Open up your task manager and see wtf's hogging all the CPU cycles.

The laptop you've got has a pretty good proc. and it's quite expensive to boot.
If you buy in 1K quantities Intel gives it at a discount price of $530!
No wonder you laptop cost $3500.
