What is LOTW?
Logo of the week (LOTW) is a weekly contest derived from SOTW. In it you are set a brief for an imaginary company and have one week to design a working logo for it. At the end of the week a winner will be selected and announced. As well as a bit of fun the work you create will be useful for your portfolio if you are going into Art-related courses or the Graphic design industry, whether it be full time, part time or work experience. Consider the brief carefully.

Rules
- The work must be vector based.
- No pre-made logos are allowed, we will check.
- No ripping or use of copyrighted materials.
- Logos must be presented in .png format and with transparent background (illustrator > file > export > .png)
- You are allowed to make one post here. One submission allowed only.
- Embed your submission with [IMG] tags.
- Logo must be able to be scaled, to show this you must post the logo in two sizes, one larger and one small, but not too large (don't break the page).

Brief:
T coincide with the start of the Summer Holidays holiday camp Sunshine Springs are looking to have their logo redesigned. They hope this will attract more people to stay with them and partake in their activities over the summer, raising their revenue substantially. The camp offers stays ranging from one to five weeks, it's located in a lush valley in Southern France but targets families with children from Britain and other parts of Europe (the American market is slight, but there are a few) traveling there on Holiday. If you choose to stay with Sunshine Springs you can either relax there, staying in cabins or mobile homes, by the pool or you can choose to enroll in various activities, including; Kayaking, Abseiling, Canyoning, White water rafting and treetop adventures. For younger children there are "Fun Camps" where they can learn about nature, watch live entertainment and play five a side football, tennis, mini golf and other sports.

Sunshine Springs would like you to develop a new logo advertising them. They have specified younger families with children (No grandparents) as their target audience. With the logo they have asked for the designer to additionally create a mascot for them, which would feature in the logo and in various parts of their advertising and branding.

I hope you guys are up for the challenge. If you need a time extension (due to the added mascot) suggest it and if enough people agree it will be considered. Until then, have fun!

For you guys who want it short:

A logo for Sunshine Springs. A camp in a valley in Southern France. For families with children from all over Europe. Camp's got mobile homes and Cabins. The logo requires a mascot in it.

Some tips for you, from me: Don't overdo the colours. Again this is a logo for younger families, but do mind it's a camp, make it a camp theme logo. Also, the location is in France, so if you are going to draw an enviroment, adapt it so it looks like it's France. So don't go add palm trees in it. The mascot: Suggest to take a European animal, so no pandas, or pokemon. I'm sorry.
