Yea so now I got my next problem.
Today's morning everything still worked.
But now I turn on my PC and nothing related to the internet works.
Bearshare, Windows Live Messenger, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer tried em all but all they dont work.
So I went to my LAN settings and guess what, everythin said it was working fine.
My main lan connection receives and sends packets succesfully.
So I checked if the thing where the network cable goes in flashes, it did.
Then I tried it again without ZoneAlarm, still couldnt internet.
Rebooted several times, also nothing.
But when I enabled something like share with all users on the LAN I had veeeery slow internet for 1 min but even that fell off.
And the weirdest part is, my lil bro and dad have the normal internet speed.
Anyone knows what this could be?

Maybe your network card is broken.

It's inbuilt in my motherboard.
Why is it sending and receiving packets when the network card would be broken?

sounds to me like a driver problem, try finding your drivers on your dad's comp or w.e and reinstalling it.
Uninstall the network adapter through device manager, then yeah...

Try the following in a cmd window:
Code: | ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns |
Also, can you ping the router?

/release and /flushdns required evaluation or something.
And how can I ping the router?

ping 192.168.x.1
Where x is the subnet you're in. If you don't know it, the most common are 0, 1, 2, 11. (e.g. ping 192.168.0.1)
Also, right click on the network icon in your system tray and click Status, then go to Support and tell me the details on there.

Well I think it said it needed higher elevation or something like that, like asking for a a higher up to give the ok to do release and flush, Start in safe mode with command then do what Mace said, then to find out how to ping your router go to command prompt and type in Ipconfig and hit enter, youll want your default gateway, take that and then type ping the gateway, then take a screen shot of it and post it here for mace to see, unless you can copy paste, right click then hit mark then click to the left of the first letter and drag your pointer to the last thing you want coppied then hit CTRL+C then come here and paste it.

The ping was a 100% loss, tried it several times and changed x to different numbers but no result.
Btw im using vista is it matters, so I went to network and sharing center.
It showed this:

Type Ipconfig then hit enter, take your default gateway and type ping and type your default gateway.
by the way, he is getting this error message from the vista command promt mace
Quote: | C:\Users\Jesse>ipconfig /release
The requested operation requires elevation. |
Edited again.....dvos, go to your search bar at the start menu and type command. then right click the command prompt and hit run as administrator then you can do /release and /renew and flush

Have you looked under network devices on your hardware list to see if there is anything? If its a lan device it has to have a drive that you can update within the hardware list.
