is there a place where i can type something in and then have a computerized voice say it so i can download what i want it to say???
i use windas btw...

You mean to record the voice?
This post might be relevant, although there are certainly more ways to record from the sound card.
EDIT:
It may be easier to just find a third-party TTS program, I'm sure there are some good ones out there with the features you need.

There used to be an firefox add-on called speak it where it uses MS speech engine to read the entire or highlighted text.

And it's pretty darn good although the voice is from MS sam.
The two additional voices from MS Office suite or within Vista is more natural.

There are third-party voice engines for Microsoft TTS here. I don't know anything about availability.

I would just go with the general speech feature in Windows, and then record it while playing the voice?
