				| First, find out what model your computer is (it should say on the case somewhere). How much memory do you have now?

				| You want to find the make and model of your computer to find out what type of memory you're looking to buy. The computer was probably made by a large manufacturer (ie. Dell, HP, Gateway, et al). If you can't find the model on the case (which you should be able to do), download a program called CPU-Z, run it, and tell us what the tabs say.
