So today I decided to take apart my laptop. While doing so I accidentally removed my Hard Drive, I then put it back in and when i boot my laptop again it went blank. So then i used my recovery disk and recovered everything. But when it started to boot again, the blue screen came and said "...winload.exe not found..." or something along those lines. I tried Google but nothing helped me.
Also I do not have the Windows vista disk, I had vista Pre-installed.
Help, please.

If I am mistaken the winload.exe is loaded into your ram and then used from then on form there, you're ram could be loose, I would take it out and reinsert it.

I think the winload.exe is not in the ram. Since many topics found by google searches says that you must insert your Vista disk and go to RE and it will detect a problem and will make a new winloader, but sadly i do not have that disk.

Then I think its time to reformat if all your options have been resolved to not working, you could go find Windows 7 RC 7100 and sue that till October 22 then go buy the retail Windows 7.

I did reformat. Problem still persists. Why would i sue windows 7? I don't have it anyways.

What I would do is to pretty much format the whole drive and all partitions and redo vista totally...
