Try defragging your disk and registry
Start menu -> All programs -> Accessories -> System tools -> Disk defrag (in windows XP, but should be similar in Vista)
Also, to defrag your registry: http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-defrag/download
Compatible with Vista. If these don't stop it, I don't know what will. |

Seems like your GPU is overheating.
Download SpeedFan and see what the GPU temps are. |

Took away image due to giant images in giant quotes | Core 1 could use some help...
Core 0 is a little bit on the hot side, but it's ok.
EDIT: In safe mode, not every DLL and registry component is loaded. You should defrag the registry anyway, just in case. |

Lol you're way off. Temps on the cpu are fine.
Anyway you shouldn't trust programs like those. Check the temp in BIOS instead. |

Actually, my computer hasn't froze in about 4 hours, runescape and moople on at the same time, while me browsing through sites.
This program is great. |

Oh well, I would think the giant red flame would mean "OMFGZ IM BURNIN UP!"
And what solved your problem? My father has been having the same problem. |

If you don't know what you're talking about, don't try giving advice on such a subject you know little about.
Anyways, as long as the peak temperature doesn't exceed 60'C, you're in good shape. 36'C is actually a pretty cool temperature (Cool being good, not dangerously cold). Hardware damage doesn't start to show up until around 70'C. _________________

The BIOS reading is from the motherboard sensor.
Coretemp / Speedfan, etc pull from the actual thermal sensors on the CPU core itself, as such, they may be a more useful reading than the BIOS.
Another interesting quirk is that the hotter it is, the more accurate the reading. Temps are essentially a guesstimate. While it's likely close, it's probably not the EXACT value.

No, this really isn't true. 70 is very acceptable still for most Intel CPU's.
Q6600 / I7's for example have a t-junction value of 100c. Get this high and it's going to throttle, then shut off. Obviously you risk lifespan when you run this hot, but you will trip the thermal warning before you damage it from heat. |

its a worm that was distributed some time ago. I used to have the same problem with my laptop (( windows XP ))
the problem is that some of your dlls get corrupted but they OS can still run. when the system needs to call a function in a corrupt dll it just freezes because there is not useable data.
you need to repair or re install your OS
(( I'm running Windows 7 now )) |

Because it only loads the core files of an operating system/ It just uses the files only needed to make it work. |
