hi. When ever i try to open something, i get this message

Unless i right click>open as administrator , but on most things like...

  • Notepad
  • Control panel
  • Certain shortcuts

you cant do admin mode.

It started after I ran combo fix for a routine check (i always scan about once a week because i download a lot of stuff, and yes it is the real combo fix not one of the fakes ones)

Whats wrong?

Go to C:\Program File\Flock\flock.exe and delete the file...

As it says in the picture it's been marked for deletion...

By the way you worded it, you made it sound like EVERYTHING you tried to open gave that exact error message, as if everything you tried to open tried to open flock instead, so don't go yelling at other people who are just trying to help. It's easily misunderstood.

That certainly looks like a virus that deleted some registry stuff.

1. Try to delete the file. If it fails...

2. Run a full virus-scan on your computer with your Anti-Virus Software (I recommend Avira / AVG Free)

P.S. Rep reset.

oh im sorry, that was a simple mistake.

If i sound like im yelling i am sorry as well, im just a lil frustrated... i cant open most of my things, due to the fact that they are in notepad (i use notepad a lot)

and deleting everything cannot possibly be a choice...

and this did happen after i ran combofix... (my fav)
