That's more opinionated, but in my experience I have found ESET NOD32 to be the best.

ESET NOD32 was one of my favorites.
But the free Avira AntiVir is just as good IMO

Ive searched and Nod has missed a trojan before i read on here but dont know where
this is the most opioned thing. I think that kaspersky is the best because of the lay out and montiers my internet while im going to websites. Also
i like it because of its easy features that you can enable and disable fast and effectivly.
what makes a good anti virus program is the following: is it hard on your cpu? is it easy to use for a newcomer? does it work efficently more than others?
I think this is all opions by far i like kaspersky cause of lay out features, its easy to use, and does a good scan
over time microsoft is gonna come out with built in antivirus software and will own the antivirus industry

Bitdefender was also a good try with me.
I stayed with bitdefender for well over a year (until my license expired)

Tried that too. The pro version and the free version are almost the exact same.
I loved avast. I never notice any false positives.
