this api keeps failing with error_access_denied whenever i call it. anyone got any ideas why this is happening ?

i'm getting a handle to a console window. then trying to remove its caption by or'ing the result of getwindowlong with ws_caption then setwindowlong with that as the new style

weirdly the code works on regular windows just not on the console window o_O

Wouldn't it be easier to use an API like SetWindowText to remove the caption?

i want to remove the entire caption to make the top sort of borderless like normal child windows, not just get rid of the text

anyway did some reading, apparently consoles can't have their captions removed ( the style not the string )
