I am getting a new dell laptop tomorrow and I'm getting just for my adobe software I would prefer a mac so I am trying to get a virtual OS on a usb DRIVE. How big do you think it needs to be? Also can a laptop be partitioned because if so I have I think 500 GB of space to use. Please and Thank you.

Laptop uses an average 2.5" HDD. Ofcourse it can be partitioned...
I recommend using VirtualBox as your Virtual Machine...
I 100% not recommend running an Operating System via USB because:
1. It'll be extremely slow running the Mac OS, and Adobe products, which are known for their heavy resources...
2. USB storage are quite small... After 8GB they begin to slow down...
Personally, If you would like to run Mac on your Laptop.
Download VirtualBox
Install it on your Laptop HDD
Run Mac from your HDD
It would be stupid buying a laptop, and then using a USB Thumb drive....
Laptop's main use is for its Portability.. Why buy a portable laptop and then using a portable USB Thumbdrive... _________________
