I wouldn't get it as it's 64 bit. Most programs run 32 bit.

I dont have a 64 bit, or ever owned one in my life.

But from what ive read, arent they suposed to be faster than a 32 bit?

To put it simply, a 64-bit operating system can generally utilize a much larger amount of RAM (theoretically, in the area of 4 billion times more, although hardware and software limitations force the effective number much, much, much lower) than a 32-bit operating system.

Unfortunately, thanks to the relatively small amount of users who'll use 64-bit operating systems compared to those who'll use 32-bit operating systems, the progression of 64-bit programs is going relatively slowly.

Also, for almost all intents and purposes, you won't ever use more than 4GB of RAM ever. Hell, you'd be hard pressed to use 2GB. Lots of OEMs try to brainwash people into thinking that paying a huge premium for more RAM than you'll ever use ever is a good thing.

EDIT: Yay, 500 posts.
