Umm, I don't think so since they probably ship that item to someone and when they try to use it, something is wrong with it, so they return it back and it's already open.

Generally means something was wrong with it, a customer sent it back then Newegg was unable to figure out what was wrong with it and decided to label it "Open box" and sell it for a discounted price. Get one if you don't mind having to RMA it once or twice maybe.

It would all work together, sure, but you won't get very far without an optical drive or HDD.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, fix'd. I do agree, however, that you could probably use a better PSU.

I'm pretty sure he knows, but I think he should defiantly change the PSU and mobo.

PSU: Choose one of these 2, 620HX is modular... http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2%2050001459%2040000058%20113142557&name=601%20-%20700W&SpeTabStoreType=1
Motherboard: $200 would get you the Gigabyte EX58 UD3R http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128375
If you have more money I'd get the ASUS P6t http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131386 or the Giga Byte EX58 UD4P http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128374

The PSU is overkill, even with an overclocked i7 920, a 450W Corsair PSU would be more than sufficient.

For the mobo, I agree with iTz. Be warned that if you do go with the first Foxconn board, it does not support SLI or RAID like most other x58 boards.
