Need more light source, and less lines attracting and disturbing the focal.

So would applying a guassain blur to the bg work?

It does look flat, I'm not saying it doesn't, but it's not really the light source, it's a depth thing.

I'll make a VIDEO tutorial about depth real soon.

Yes, but you have to delete the blur over the focal.

And don't set the blur over 1.0

It is, and those are just a few brushes. I added them in front because somebody said to put the glowy lines in front of it.
