Thank you for being so patient with this, it's been a busy week and I apologize it took so long. Thanks to spunge for doing SOTW. It was a good turn out for the first LOTW and I hope people continue to take part in them!
Winner:

Brilliant design. It's bright, the bubbles accurately represent fizz and the colours only go to enhance the idea of an explosion in your mouth. It's a design I can really see being on the front of a sweet and it's better than a few that are.
Honourable mention:

This was a close contender to first place, it was a nice idea. However it holds little appeal to a kid, there's a distinct lack of colour drawing people in. It wouldn't stand out all that well on a sweet package, in my opinion.

While I like the design, which is great, I feel that it would be hard to recognize if shrunk. It is very noticeable otherwise. An idea would be to use two different logos. A nice colour pallete is used here but I do feel like it is a bit indistinct. There is virtually no contrast until you encounter the black outline, if the text was outlined as well this would probably look more complete. Try fiddling around with it. Maybe try it without an outline? The framing is slightly off with the text rotated, while I like the attempt to create a focal point this could be improved if the text was blended over the picture. Blended is not the right word, you would probably want to use an outline around the text. Look into the use of negative space - Example, Explanation.
Deletion:
I can guess at the effect you were going for but was this submission just a quick effort? To improve upon this effect I'd have embedded the text and given a more 3d feel.
Holland:
I liked this one a lot. The only criticism I would have is that the small dots might not blend well on packaging. Maybe a cleaner version would be in order? |

The white outline was meant for the CEF BG, originally it had no outline and was on a white canvas then when I posted it I was forced to add it D:
