well my dad decided to go into my profile and make my taskbar fucking transparent and its annoying the FUCK out of me so how do i make it solid again? im searching how to as i type this i just thought it would be killing 2 birds with one stone posting it here and searching

Windows Color and Appearance does not change the visualization of the taskbar. All that does is change the color of the Windows border. And even if you slide the color intensity bar to the very left, the taskbar is still opaque and it's not like the one in that picture.

The transparent taskbar is most likely to do with a 3rd party software.

actually in aero theme the taskbar is always transparent-ish unless you have a full screen application running. even if it's something like notepad. the difference is stuff usually maximises to just above the taskbar. as opposed to his whose goes past it. not sure what up with it nor how to fix it..

thats very strange. I have the option of turning transparency on or off.

tell us what version of vista you have.

Set your windows theme Windows standard or Windows basic and see if that will make the taskbar back to normal. Then change it to the style that you like.

k my dad changed it back and didnt tell me how to do it...sometimes he just fucks with me T_T....ok well thanks for the help everyone

theres a big button that says defAULT, try it

if not

theres an

"open classic apperance properties for more colour options" option, click that

use the colour scheme windows aero if it aint on
its all i can do for now, il look it
