Kind of lame build. Some suggestions:
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-400CX - Higher performance (i.e. more power on +12v), cheaper, higher reliability, stable rails, etc. - $40 after MIR
RAM: Corsair XMS2 2GB kit - If you like rebates - Heatspreaders, Corsair reliability; you may want to watch the Corsair 4GB kit if it ever drops back down to $15 after MIR. Probably not going to happen until Black Friday though. - $19
CPU: Intel Pentium E5200 2.5GHz - Noticeably faster than AMD equivalent, 45nm technology, 2MB L2 cache, great OC'ability, Core 2 microarchitecture - $70
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-UD3R - Solid-state caps, great OC'ing motherboard, good chipset stability; nice, cheap alternative - $100 after MIR, cheaper model = $52
HD 4670 256MB - Just a bit less than 4x faster than your current selection, same price; if you need more framebuffer (although the 128-bit memory bus usually wont take advantage of it in-game), you can spend $10 more with the 512MB model; comparable green-team model - HD 4670 256MB = $50 after MIR, HD 4670 512MB = $60 after MIR, disabled 9600GT (mislabeled 9600GSO, less USPs than the 9600GT) = $49
There we have it. With the highest priced configuration, your build is just $15 over-budget, yet a lot, lot faster. With the lowest priced configuration (very similar performance), you'll have $44 to spare. Not counting taxes (but applying rebates). _________________
