Do it yourself. Install XAMPP. Put shit in "htdocs" folder and surf in to http://localhost/ . Install DynDNS and configurate it. Now you can choose a lot of domains. I have slangen.mine.nu. Try that in your web browser . _________________

Don't do that, it's much more annoying...
First you have to leave your PC running 24/7
You should have a pretty decent internet connection so the page loads faster.
You must have an internet connection that doesn't include uploads to the bandwidth so you don't waste all your downloads.
You will probably need to port forward which is sometimes a hassle on some modems. Also opening a wrong port may allow hacker's to easily access a computer...

If you get a Free Host such as 000Webhost, it's free, doesn't use any of your internet, doesn't slow down your internet connection, doesn't need port forwarding or anything at all...

All the Pro's go to 000Webhost, all the cons go to Hosting fom your own computer...

And if you think about purchasing. Lunarpages for some good deals but they are crap. I bought a website 2 months ago and they keep sending me mails "We called you for comfirmation but you didn't answer'd us" They NEVER call -_-
