As the title says.
My computer is getting a windows update. Nothing wrong up until then. But when I try to install it, svchost.exe says memory referenced at "0000x000000" (or somewhere along those lines. It's basically all 0's) cannot be "read". I get to either press okay and terminate, or debug. Pressing okay makes everything freeze, and I have to manually shut down my computer with the power button. Debugging fixes everything, but then my sound screws up, and my scheme turns into Windows 98.
This is really annoying, and I don't know how to fix it. Suggestions please?
(And yes, I have thought about not installing the windows update. But it not working means something could be wrong with my system)

Terminating svchost freezes everything, as I said.

You might call in computer engineers for help. Or you save your stuffs in a drive and reformat.
