Way too overpriced and it's not good at all. (Neither is the 9600GT btw) |

Neither did I, and I fucked up my PSU and mobo xD (But that was because I was way too hasty with building it ).
It's not that hard. It's like a big puzzle, you just need to be carefull.
Also, the HD4870: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102810
Edit:
I forgot, the HP case might be way too small for the HD4870. And the PSU might not suffice. It'd be better if you buid a pc yourself

You can get quite a bit more for your money. X483 wrote: | building computer is like a 7 piece puzzle its so easy even if you dont know wat your doing, you just fill every hole on motherboard with a cable or part |

WoW doesn't need that much graphic power at all, you could easily drop it down to the 4830 or the 4600 series, even.
As for the rest of the build,
$10 CAD will get you twice the HDD storage space, which is worth noting. The PSU is probably a little more wattage than it's going to need, although Corsair is a great company for them. You can easily shave off a few dollars on the memory, maybe this G.SKILL kit, I used it in my last build for somebody and they're working great (look cool too, I suppose).
Great motherboard, no complaints there. The UD3R has the ICH10R south bridge if RAID is something OP would look at down the line. Great CPU as well, I don't know if OP wants to overclock at all or not, but he certainly can. Throw in a Xigmatek s1283 for $35 as an aftermarket CPU cooler for better temps.
That Radeon HD 4870 is good if that's the video card you were to choose. Find out if he plays other games before knocking it down to say, a 4830 or 4670, though. |

He said WoW was the most graphic intense game he plays, but I think he doesnt want a PC based on WoW, but perhaps in the future for some other games. And he doesn't mind to spend his whole budget.
He also decided to throw in another 50$ for a Q6600 instead of the E8400 |

WOTLK would like a word with you.
I got better FPS in Crysis than Dalaran to put it in perspective... it's enough to bring my GTX 260 to under 30 fps if I'm on at a peak time. |

I had heard it was harder on the hardware, but that's pretty amazing. I stopped playing before it came out, thought of starting again, just never did. |
