my ip adresses keep switching.... and i keep having to chnage them
( belkin ) how do i keep my ip adress from changing so my ports can live?

that mean your ip is dynamic
uh you need to have static ip

Switch your WAN connection type to one that accepts a static IP. That's within the router control panel.

You can set the LAN/DHCP lease time to some longer interval, for example, a renew every week instead of every day. At least for a PPPoE line.
