so I have a jailbroken ipod touch 2g (2.2.1 Firmware)
during the jailbreak it asked me if i wanted to use a custom boot logo but I chose not to. is it still possible to change it without re-jailbreaking it?

I think you can do a nor-only patch to change it.
You'll be able to keep your apps, it'll be quick too.
(You may need to re-auth your apps though.)

Also, in Cydia, there is a program called "Logome".
This won't work.
It hasn't been re-done for the second gen.

Until the maker modifies the code for second gen ipods a nor only flash is the only option short of restoring and re-jailbreaking.

check ipod touch fans. it's really simple and only takes like 30 seconds to prepare. it's just a nor flash.
