I have 1 gb ram (512mb x 512mb) if i have 2 more slots (ddr2) do i have to buy 2 512mb ram sticks? or can i buy 1 solid 1gb ram stick?

Your motherboard manual covers that issue.
It tells you all about accepted memory modules, like size, speed, etc.

If i were you, I'd save up for 4x 1gb (If your mobo can handle that)

Uh yeah my system aint top notch but i think its appropiate to upgrade my ram since most of the apps of todays are demanding more of it Smile so hmm no one really answered my question O.o

You can buy and install any combination of DDR2 memory, so long as the speeds are supported by your motherboard. That is, unless it's a common problem with your motherboard's chipset..
