Hey every one i just got a new motherboard P5V Pro but my video card evGA 8600 GTS does not work with the motherboards its just a blank screen and i googled and found out that it dont work. Sad

so now i need a new video card.... but i wont to buy another video card just to find out that it wont work with the P5Q pro motherboard.

Right now i need to know if evGA 9800 gt would work with the P5Q pro motherboard or not or is there any other good video cards that cost under $200 that would work with P5Q pro motherboard.

You have a P5V or P5Q?
Either way, I don't see why you would need a new one JUST to work.
However, if you do want a video card upgrade for <$200, get a 4870 and have room to upgrade (in the case of the P5Q), or even two 4830s in Crossfire (with a P5Q).

oh sorry for he typo its a P5Q pro motherboard, the evGA 8600 gt dont work with P5Q pro nothing will show up on screen just black, i search on google and found that lots of people who had 8600 and P5Q pro didnt work also, so yeah i need a new video card its pretty gay since i cant use my desktop and use my uber slow compaq laptop Sad
