Please name one (Freeware) that's relatively fast, yet provides good quality outcomes.

My iPod Video 80gig needs filling, and all my downloaded anime needs converting.

I believe itunes offers the best quality conversions.

Slow as hell though. The conversions take about as long as the clip is.

Handbrake is one of the best video converters. It's cross-platform and open-source.
You just have to put in the settings you want, which shouldn't be too difficult..
