Sometimes when I'm playing a game my screen goes blank for a sec and a window pops up saying that a driver had stopped working or ended. While that is shown my screen has gone all weird containing bad quality colours and stuff. Loking very abnormal. :/ Is there a way to prevent this from happening? ;-;''

This happened on my laptop, with the GPU driver only. It could happen 40 times a day, or not at all, it was just random. I never got it fixed, and now I can't install any kind of OS on my machine.

Hard to say because that branches off into ALOT of different things....ill list the most common
-Is your video card compatable with your drivers? it may cause conflicts with your visual's
-Is your driver out of date? this can cause problems for games that need a more recent diver
-have you dropped or spilled liquids on computer?
also last i checked a GPU driver is on the motherboard (built in video card)...so switching things to a video card MIGHT fix things

i might be thinking of a emulator and computer mixture....(you know epsxe) in any case if im right a driver is a the things that run the computer (3D graphic support driver....etc.)
Bio's (not entireley sure of how todefinine this one... playstation bio's = system information?)
driver = information to "handle" a CD drive, floppy drive etc. ; certain "how to" information how to handle a givin task
so i might be talking about a different "driver"
