Hello and welcome to my request.

Before we get started, I'd like to detail some of how I believe, or have been led to believe, the Cheat Engine operates. Skip this paragraph if you already know and want to know my question. The Cheat Engine reads actively changing binary code in the form of Hex and ASM(aka z80). This application then takes the data and reads where variables are being written to, and what their value is. From there, the Cheat Engine can modify those variables, and even freeze them in order to keep them from moving around.

If I'm correct, then what my request is, is a custom Cheat Engine that does NOT allow editing of the values. However, the Cheat Engine needs to keep track of moving variables, and post the variables targeted in the listed order under a notepad file (ini or similar).

The objective of this Cheat Engine is to act as an addon to MapleStory and allow me to script a MapleStory 'Emulator' that will allow users on a Nintendo DS (and possible a Playstation Portable) to play MapleStory from any given Wifi access point. Because of a lack of ability to modify said variables, it would prevent accidentally triggering GameGuard and possible calling on a Hack Attempt. This would be great if avoided. Initially, all i would need is to locate a given variable (ex: Player map location (x and y). Those variables (if the first targeted variable in the list) would print out a notepad file such as this:

This is an initial phase in the development of said emulator. Some sprites and data have already been constructed and is not being released at this time. Please add a name/signature into any readme with the said application to be credited in the overall project.

for some reason I missed this post

anyhow, from what I understand you want to play maplestory on your pc and control it from your handheld, and let ce send you all the data so an emulator on the handheld will interpret that and show what's happening

Perhaps a nice idea, but the problem is that gameguard also detects ce when it's not editing memory (unless you edit it enough so it's undetected, uce)
Another problem would be sending the gameplay commands back to maple. gameguard hooks apis used to emulate keypresses etc... (it's bypassable, but not build into ce by default)

You could go with injecting a dll into the maple process though. That's usually a less detected method

anther idea, how about something like using a remote desktop application and downgrade the input resolution to the resolution used by the handheld ? (with perhaps some text optimizations on the parts health is shown)

ill elaborate on DB's Post a lil ;}

though not built into CE by Default there are simple methods used in order to bypass such hooks.. and with the advent of CE Plugins one could build this functionality into CE..

as for the UCE Method i am currently working on a code randomization utility designed for delphi and C++ (its pretty hard going as i have almost no expience with delphi) but using a UCE that was built with the CE 5.4 + code and has the plugin functionality would be a valid option for you.
