Well im looking for the cheapest 4gb DDR2 1066 memory on newegg, i saw this one:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231226 but it says intel chipsets only and im using AMD so idk if it is compatible, but a review said it worked with amd proccesor and mobo, so help me out please.

It'll work so long as your mobo supports DDR2, don't even worry about it.

I don't know about you but for me when it comes to building custom computers the first place I'd look is:

I'm also looking for RAM, I've only got a Gig, I need about 3 - 4 gigs for half of my music production software to run more efficiently.
Especially EastWest Quantum Leap Colossus...

Go to crucial. com and use their memory scanner [Dont do it if you have vista tho, any vista system you run that scanner on will end up giving you a BSOD]
Then they will tell you what is comaptible for your computer, after that, just take that info and search on google for the best price

I just scanned now running Vista and I didn't BSOD...
Get your facts right before you post....

I don't really like Crucial's site because, while it may be very safe when buying for specific motherboards, it leads less-knowledgeable consumers thinking that there's only one kind or model of memory for their computer.
