Where can I get youtube downloader to download movie from the youtube site? I use google, but mostly seen to be unsafe....

It's simple. 
Get the video ID and "t" value, and optionally the download quality.
Download default (FLV) quality:
http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=(video id)&t=(t value)
Download high (MP4) quality:
http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=(video id)&t=(t value)&fmt=18
Download HD (MP4?) quality:
http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=(video id)&t=(t value)&fmt=21
If you're using Firefox, make a bookmark for: | Code: | | javascript:if(document.location.href.match(/http:\/\/[a-zA-Z\.]*youtube\.com\/watch/)){document.location.href='http://www.youtube.com/get_video?fmt='+(isHDAvailable?'22':'18')+'&video_id='+swfArgs['video_id']+'&t='+swfArgs['t']} |
And click that on a YouTube page to download the video.

That works perfectly thanks alot.
I was looking for something to download high def movies.
Also, you can get a FireFox addon called 'Fast Video Download'.
It won't get high def but it works.
Also, there's a great program called save2pc, it lets you download the video and it converts it to any format you want.

Use VirtualDub(Mod) for things like that.
Also, this thread is about a month old. This forum doesn't move too quickly, try to check the dates of posts before going grave-digging.
