Okay ONE LAST QUESTION! would the Q6600 be faster and give better performance(without Overclock) than the E8400(without overclock) for games like crysis, spore, age of empires 3, and Simcity 4 and societies?

For Crysis, yes. For others, I'm not sure. You could try a quick "multithreading [game]", and chances are, if there's not a number of sites documenting multithread-ability of the games, it has support.

Basically, support for more than two cores. Games like GTA IV and Crysis have support for it, and that's why they scale over quad core CPUs.

If you run a game that uses 2 threads on a quad-core, you will only utilize 50% of the quad-core's power. Games like Crysis, GTA IV, Supreme Commander, Lost Planet, and most Source games support multi-threading.

What about Spore and Last Planet?
I think that the Q6600 would give better performance.

A system is not only for games...
HD encoding, video, imaging editing and so one will take advantage of quads.

x264 <3
Luckily, lots of image editing now is more widely hardware accelerated by the GPU.

Not a credible post. Spore and Last Planet both only utilize two threads.
It'd probably just get an E8400 if you aren't going to be doing a ton of CPU intensive things at once. Its a good proc.

As far as I know, blu-ray burning isn't that CPU-reliant, it has more to do with the burner.
Correct me, though. I don't own one myself.
